PROGRAM:

Day 1: Accommodation on a vessel. Departure from the port of P-kamchatsky. Night shift to the Kuril islands.

Day 2: Bird’s Islands. Motorboat sightseeing tour around the islands. Tourists can watch birds colonies, sea otters and seals here. Halibut fishing. Shift to the Shumshu island (Baikovo village)

Day 3: Shumshu Island. There used to be a Japanese military base. These days there are still some monuments and relics, cemetery and an old aerodrome from the period of Second World War. Tourists will also visit the Bolshoe lake (a good river fishing is available during the season). Return to the vessel, sea fishing. Night shift to the Atlasov’s Island.

Day 4: Atlasov’s Island is the Northernmost island of the great Kuril chain. This Island has a volcanic origin. There is an active volcano - Alaid. The height of the volcano is 2339 m. which is the highest point of the Kuril Islands. On this island you will see wild foxes, seals, sea otters. We plan two disembarkations. During our first stop we will ascend the volcano Taketomi. Return to the ship. Dinner. Moving to the Vasiliy Peskov Island which in 2016 was named after one popular journalist and naturalist, the anchor of the famous tv program “Animal world " Vasily Mikhailovich Peskov. Motorboat sightseeing tour. Return to the ship. Shift to the Rovnyi Cape. Sightseeing tour. Night shift.

Day 5: Paramushir Island. Krasheninnikova Bay. From the bay there is a magnificent view of the active volcanoes: Tatarinov, Karpinsky, Chikurachki, Fussa, Lomanosov. Fishing. Lunch. River fishing on the Krasheninnikova River. Dinner. Night shift.

Day 6: Onekotan Island. Uninhabited. Sea fishing (Nemo Bay). Expedition to the Black lake (fishing for black imperial trout), picnic, rest. Return to the ship. Night shift.

Day 7: Matua Island. This island was the most powerfully fortified Japanese island during the Great Patriotic War. Exploration of the island. Rest. Night shift.

Day 8: Ushishir Islands. Consists of two large islands: Ryponkich and Yankich and adjacent rocks. The total area is about 5 km². The islands are covered with bushes and oceanic meadows. Visiting the Kraternaya Bay - one of the most beautiful places of Kurils. Motorboat sightseeing tour, picnic, bathing in natural hot springs, return to the vessel. Night shift.

Day 9: Simushir Island. Belongs to the middle group of the Kuril Islands. There are 3 active volcanoes on the territory. Sea fishing (Broutana bay). Visiting an abandoned military base. Night shift.

Day 10: The Black Brothers islands: Chirpoy and Brother Chirpoev. The islands are uninhabited. Divided by the Snow channel. There is no fresh water on the islands. There is are two active volcanoes on the Chirpoy island: Cherny and Snow. Motorboat sightseeing tour. Rest. Night shift.

Day 11: Urup island. Uninhabited. There is one active volcano - Berga and Taka waterfall. River fishing on the Bystraya river. Return to the vessel. Transfer to the Natalia bay. Motorboat sightseeing excursion. Return to the vessel. Visiting the hot springs. Night shift.

Day 12: Iturup island. Medvezhiya bay. Sea fishing (halibut). Lunch. Visiting the Ilya Muromec waterfall. Night shift to the Kurilsk town.

Day 13: Iturup island. Sightseeing tour around the Kurilsk town. Visiting the Baranovski volcano and hot springs. Disembarkation at the Kurilsk town.
